What are tithes and offerings?
We believe anything we are fortunate enough to have was given to us from God in the first place – so we should give back to God first. A good starting place for how much to give is 10% or a ‘tithe’ on your income. These funds go to support the operations, ministries and staff of the church.
Generosity is a lifestyle. Giving financially is one way to be generous. We believe anything given above and beyond the tithe is an offering – it’s something you give in response to something on your heart or the Holy Spirit leading you. These funds go to specific needs beyond the basis of the church. Included in offerings: benevolence, missions, building and specific offerings for a project, ministry or guest.
Whether you’d like to make a single donation or schedule ongoing gifts, we have partnered with Tithe.ly to make online giving quick, easy and safe.
If your annual donations are $20 or more, you will receive a tax receipt at year end.
If you have any questions concerning giving, email debi@trullsroadchurch.com.
Thank you for your generous support!
